I’ve known Grace since she was pretty young. We met through our love of horses. Grace started taking lesson at the barn I boarded my horse at. I would do barn chores a couple times a week and every evening she was there riding, her dad was typically with her. He struggled to just sit around and watch her and typically requested I give him a job to do to pass his time. I always appreciated his help and probably got to know him before I really knew Grace! But that quickly changed once she was riding regularly, showing with our group and eventually got her own horse. And have been friends ever since, despite me being older! When I found out she got engaged to her wonderful beau, Calvin, I was without a doubt thrilled for her. She had mentioned a few times she thought it would be happening soon. I was beyond HONORED when Grace called, asking me to be their photographer. Having the trust of someone I truly care about is such an amazing feeling. Thank you Grace for trusting me to capture your big day!
We chatted a lot about vision. Grace had sent many inspiration photos and after a few suggestions on locations, I let Grace lead the way with an amazing location behind her parents home. It absolutely fit her vision to a T and I really couldn’t have found such a perfect location without her. I grew up in the Twilight Sage era and this definitely gave Edward and Bella vibes. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit the heart of my younger self was bursting! Spending this time with Grace while getting to know Calvin was such a joy. They’re planning an August 2024 wedding in Lowell and I cannot wait to see Grace’s vision come to life! Here’s their forest engagement session! Enjoy!
