Super duper easy! Contracts and retainer fees are completed online. As long as you have a smart phone and a credit card, you’re golden!
$800 and it comes off your balance. A paid retainer and signed contract is required to officially book and save your date.
I don’t have a set amount I deliver. I estimate between 50-100 per hour of coverage.
I do not and let me explain why. You’re hiring me for my art and my vision. It would be like hiring a painter and only being given a sketch - it’s not the finished product and not how I want to be represented. So that being said, RAW files are not available.
Typically two weeks for engagement sessions and 6 weeks for weddings. This timeframe isn’t set in stone and if galleries are done earlier, they will be sent over!
I recommend anywhere from 8 to 10 hours. 8 hours is great for one venue location. 10 hours is better for multiple venues and locations. A typical wedding, either 8 or 10 hours can easily cover from getting ready through about three hours of the reception.
Since 2011 and I’ve photographed over 100 weddings. This is my full time job and has my 100% dedication. My clients and delivering a quality experience as well as product are my top priority. This isn't a 9-5 job - I try to be as accessible to my clients as possible.
This is an important topic to discuss and understand the backup plan if something happens. I will preface this by saying I have never missed a wedding I’ve been booked for. I have however shot a few weddings under the weather because life does happen and I take my role as your wedding photographer very seriously. The only reason I would not be at your wedding is if I’m in the hospital. In that event, I work closely with a great community of photographers and finding my replacement shouldn’t be an issue. I also work with a very strong second shooter that would have no issue stepping in as primary for the day.
Only with a retainer and signed contract! I will temporarily hold a date out of courtesy only with a scheduled consultation. I will provide a short window afterwards to give you time to consider. Dates go fast so I encourage booking early!
Yes! I love to travel and open to photograph weddings anywhere in the world. Travel fees are in addition to wedding collection fees and can be discussed in detail during a consultation. Travel fees for up to two hours from the Grand Rapids area are included in all local wedding collections.
You betcha. I’m a legal LLC with the state of Michigan and have liability insurance through Lockton Affinity. I’m happy to provide insurance information to your venue if necessary!
