I’ve met a lot of great people through horses. I’ve been riding since I was 8 so the last 30 years have been put me on many paths to find some of the best people in my life. Many I would call life long friends. Meet Chloe! I met Chloe and her family when I had my horse at a boarding facility several years ago. I’ve photographed her yearly since then and watching this girl grow up has been such a privilege. She has become like a sister to me and my family. She adores my daughter like her own and I couldn’t image life without her. We decided to take some just graduated photos of her at the Wittenbach Wege Center in Lowell. Most of Chloe’s photos over the years (ok, let’s face it, ALL OF THEM), have been with her horse Chaos. This time around, Chloe decided to have photos with her dog, who ironically, is named Chaos as well.
When the day of graduation arrived, Chloe decided to make a bold statement with her attire. Instead of the traditional dress shoes, she chose to wear her favorite cowgirl boots. These boots symbolized her roots and her love for animals, especially horses. Chloe’s graduation cap was unlike any other in the ceremony. She had a custom-made sticker on her cap featuring lyrics from one of Garth Brooks’ iconic songs, Friends in Low Places. I don’t think any other lyrics could have been a better fit for Chloe and her personality.
I’ve been so lucky and honored to capture so many milestones in this beautiful girl’s 18 years of life. I can’t wait to capture more as she navigates life. After graduating from Lowell High School, Chloe is excited to embark on her next journey: attending vet tech school in the fall. Her passion for animals and desire to make a positive impact on their lives led her to choose this fulfilling career path. At vet tech school, she hopes to gain valuable knowledge and skills to provide top-notch care for animals of all shapes and sizes. Here’s to Chloe and the bright future that awaits her! Love you girl!
