Paige and Nick’s wedding took place on a beautiful summer day in Northern Michigan. We started our day meeting with the bride and her girls at the condo above the beautiful Kirkbride Hall venue! It was such a convenient location for the bride and her family to stay and have a place to get ready so close to their reception venue! Shortly after arrive, we were off again to get to the church on time for the couple’s catholic mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. The words of father Jarvis were so thought-filled and poetic. It was a beautiful and spiritual experience.
Shortly after the ceremony, we were off again on the brew bus to pick up lunch at Jimmy John’s and to make our way to Mari Vineyards for photos! We had the best tour of the production floor and wine caves. We were able to take some super fun photos in the caves (which you’ll see below!) A really cool feature at Mari is the Oculus. It’s an experience in itself that I highly recommend checking out for yourself but boy did it make for some neat photos! This was my first wine cave experience and it was well worth checking out! After our caves tour, we had to get some more traditional photos next to the vineyard and with Grand Traverse Bay in the background. The view was absolutely breathtaking!
No wedding day in Traverse City would be complete without some water photos so we hit up Clinch Park to utilize the boat dock for some gorgeous bay photos. They bridal party caused quite the stir with the swimmers but no one fell in and that’s always a plus in my book when you have water involved. 🙂
Once arriving back at Kirkbride Hall, we were able to explore the historic tunnels that run below the commons. It was eerie but thrilling and made for some really neat photos! The reception space had some very historic charm, with tall, cathedral ceilings and stained-glass windows. Paige and Nick’s friends and family shared some hysterical and touching stories of the couple – it was a night full of love and laughter. Concluding our coverage, Nick and Paige ended with an exhilarating choreographed dance. We had the best time with these two! They were hands down one of the easiest couples to work. Their appreciation for the vendors was so obvious and apparent, we were beyond thankful for their hospitality. Best wishes to the happy couple and their future together! Cheer, Paige and Nick!
