Kelsey and Alex’s wedding was literally a fairytale. Their colorful details and abundant love will go down as one of my favorite weddings of all time. Oh and the light! That gorgeous light we got to play in all day long! What really stuck out to me for the entire wedding day was every little detail was something personal to the bride and groom. Every location had a story! The morning began at Suzanne’s Organics Salon. This salon was seriously perfect. Not only was it beautiful to shoot in, but the staff was so incredibly friendly. They even had a little bridal room where Kelsey could put her gown on before we headed to the first look. Kelsey and Alex had their first look near the tennis courts at Kalamazoo college. They both play tennis so how fitting is that!! Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Stetson Chapel on Kalamazoo College, where they attended school. The chapel seriously had the best light ever! Their full service was super ornate and whimsical. The big finale of a reception was something to die over. The reception was held at Kelsey’s parent’s beautiful home and my gosh, what a dramatic transformation of an already stunning space! The entire reception was outside and thankfully mother nature was looking down on us all that day, the weather could not have been any better. Kelsey and Alex served their favorite Michigan beer and wine and some delicious tacos with homemade salsa. For dessert, they filled a huge table of the best desserts! (The way to my heart ;)!)
Congratulations Kelsey and Alex! I hope you had the most beautiful night dancing under the stars.
The color in all these details are enough to make me die! I LOVE color!
