I don’t even know where to start with these two – there’s so much to say! I will start by saying in the short time I’ve known Lauren and Michael, I absolutely adore them! Our relationship began when they booked me for their August 2020 wedding. I will always remember Lauren’s first email to me and how much she loved Spanish moss trees and wished it was in the budget to get married in at a destination with these trees. Seriously, a girl after my own heart! But second best, she decided on a beautiful barn wedding in Michigan. Months after our initial meeting, Lauren reached out with some news that she had some health issues and they had decided to reschedule their wedding for 2019 and wanted to know my availability. My heart actually sank. I wasn’t sure if I would be to accommodate their change with such a busy summer and I already felt so connected with them – I couldn’t wait to have fun with them! I replied to Lauren with two available weekends and let’s just say magic happened. Lauren planned a destination wedding to the Golden Isles with her family in two days times (AROUND MY SCHEDULE!) and the rest is history.

Before I knew it, it was July and I was boarding a plane to Georgia. We spent a full evening taking engagement photos around the Golden Isles. I was able to see some of the gorgeous sites as dodged rain and fought off crazy, I mean CRAZY, amounts of bugs. Lauren’s mom Melissa came as backup and my honorary Jacki for the weekend – she was a lifesaver!
