A Michigan Historic Mansion Wedding
Annika and Nate’s beautiful wedding day took place at the historic and the stunning Felt Mansion near Holland and Saugatuck Michigan. Their summer wedding was on one of the hottest days I can remember but the heat didn’t damper any spirits! Photography was very important to Annika and wow, this day didn’t disappoint when it came to character and beautiful locations. Every inch of this mansion was photogenic and I’m quite embarrassed to admit the amount of photos I took by the end of the day but it was definitely one of the largest galleries I ever delivered! The mansion sits next to Saugatuck Dunes State Park featuring sand dunes, beach grass, tall mature trees and the iconic lakeshore west Michigan is best known for. I knew from the first day I met Annika and Nate at their winter engagement session at the nature preserve at Calvin College, I knew we would have the best time on their wedding day.
The beautiful light, the delicate details and the love these two have for each other was just spectacular. I loved getting to know these two through their wedding planning process. Their love and connection is undeniable and evident in every photo I took – even the candid ones! They are too cute and I enjoyed every minute of capturing their special day and their loved ones. I even got to see one of my previous couples, Janelle and Will as well as Janelle’s family, which was such a joy! I hope you enjoy looking through Annika and Nate’s wedding day at The Felt Mansion!
