I’ve probably said this more than once, but 2019 was full of friends tying the knot. It has been such an exciting year watching some of the best people I know have the happiest times of their lives! When Pagiel + Zach asked me to photograph their wedding day, I would be lying if I said I had been wishing for that day even before Pagiel was engaged. I’ve taken a lot of photos of Pagiel over the years, from her senior year to playing dress up and being a model for a few styled shoots for me! This girl is a natural beauty and she makes my job so darn easy – it’s like a dream! I won’t let Pagiel take all the glory because let me tell you about Zach. I have adored Zach since the day I met him. His light-hearted and hysterical nature is such a joy to be around, you seriously cannot get enough of this man and it’s easy to feel like you’ve known him for years. The match they’ve found in each other is priceless. They compliment one another in ways I’ve rarely seen. I’m bold enough to say these two are definitely soulmates.

Pagiel + Zach were married at Studio D2D in Grand Rapids. This was my first time at this venue and I would be so happy to return! The staff at D2D were so friendly and helpful. The space was beautiful and it was so nice to have everything at one location. I absolutely love venues that provide plenty of space to move around – it makes my job as a photographer so much easier.

With Pagiel + Zach’s amazing planning, we were able to rent a warehouse to take photos and have a great backup plan in case the weather was too poor to go outside. It did not disappoint and these are some of my favorite photos to date! Have fun looking back on your amazing wedding day, Pagiel + Zach! Love you both so much!
