Ah, I just adore this girl! Ryanne and I have been riding buddies for many years and I swear we’ve been talking about her wedding day since we met. When Stephen finally proposed on Mary’s Bridge at Neuschwanstein Castle, I was so dang stoked for them! Ryanne was a gorgeous bride. Seeing the pure joy on her face when she first stepped into her stunning dress was absolutely priceless and I’m so lucky to have been there to witness such a special moment.

Ryanne and Stephen were married at the beautiful St. Patrick Church in Ada Michigan. The white church and stained glass windows have always been a favorite of mine so I couldn’t wait to photograph their ceremony. Ryanne had mentioned how badly she wanted some sunshine on the wedding day because she just loves the sun radiating through the colorful windows. Well, we were in such amazing luck because the sun was abundant that day and Ryanne got her wish!

The reception was held at the Bissell Tree House at John Ball Zoo. This is such a fun venue with a spectacular view of Grand Rapids, especially now that the leaves had dropped from most of the trees. The evening was full of fun, laughter with good friends and dancing. Congratulation Ryanne and Stephen! XOXO!
